Let’s talk about going above and beyond. I think the idea of having something embroidered for a loved one is so sweet and it really shows that you took some real time and effort (especially if you are crafty enough to do it yourself). Having a nickname embroidered on your hubby’s tie or getting your initials and wedding date sewn into your dress are great momentos you can keep with your forever.

And lets not forget the other important people that might be anxious the day of the wedding! Having a special note embroidered on a hankerchif for Mom or Dad shows them how important they are to you and that you still found time to do a little something for them in between all your planning.

If you don’t want to pay for a professional to create this look for you, there are two alternate options. Option A is is to buy dye available in stores. It comes at an affordable price and is easily available. Store-bought dye is also available in tons of colors so you will be able to pick the exact hue that you want.   Option B is to go the homemade route. These dyes are great because they are all-natural and non-toxic. The downside to this is that the exact color will vary. You have to be married to the idea that an exact shade is out of the question.
