I don’t know about everyone else, but I love me a good jello shot! I remember a few years ago (back in my younger years when I thought Smirinoff Ice tasted good) I tried to make jello shots using champagne jello and Smirinoff ice… needless to say, it didn’t turn out so well. Catering companies across the nation are coming up with their own versions of unique and creative jello shots for couples to serve to their guests during the cocktail hour! Thank god because I obviously didn’t make a very good jell-o scientist.

The great thing about serving jell-o shots at your wedding is that they are fun (and lets not ignore the fact that we can have just one jell-o shot and we instantly relive college and updated in a way that makes them somehow sophisticated. There are so many different ways to customize your own jell-o shots. Besides the obvious flavor differences, you can try different molds to create unique shapes, you can mess with the way you layer different flavors or you could add details to the jell-o by putting fruit into the jell-o mixture or dipping the shot in coconut! The sky’s the limit!
